Day 1: Arrival – Thimphu Exploration
Warm welcome at Paro Airport, drive to Thimphu.
Visit the majestic Buddha Dordenma (Buddha Point).
Enjoy a short Wangditse hike with views of the Thimphu valley.
Visit the Traditional Arts School (Zorig Chusum) and the Folk Heritage Museum.
Overnight in Thimphu.
Day 2: Thimphu – Lamperi – Punakha
Stop at Semtokha Dzong View Point.
Scenic drive to Dochula Pass (3,100m) with its 108 stupas.
Continue to Lamperi Botanical Park for a guided nature walk and tree planting activity, followed by a picnic lunch.
Evening drive to Punakha.
Overnight in Punakha.
Day 3: Punakha – Paro
Explore the majestic Punakha Dzong, “Palace of Great Happiness.”
Walk across the Suspension Bridge.
Visit a local nunnery for insight into monastic life.
Lunch in Punakha, then return to Paro by evening.
Overnight in Paro.
Day 4: Paro – Hike to Tiger’s Nest
Early morning hike to the sacred Taktsang (Tiger’s Nest Monastery) perched on a cliffside.
Rest of the day at leisure in Paro town.
Overnight in Paro.
Day 5: Departure
Transfer to Paro International Airport for your onward journey.
